Okay, so while I was attempting to dual-boot Ubuntu and Windows 7, I messed up. I clicked "create new partition table" on Gparted, and it erased every single from my laptop. I have Ubuntu running right now just fine, but I want to get Windows back. I have an idea that i think would work. If it doesn't then are there any ways that you know to get it back? (like some sort of file recovery or something)
Here is my idea:
Use my friend's Full Windows 7 Home Premium disc to install Windows 7 to my laptop, then run recovery discs from his computer onto mine.
