My computer has lost it's Audio / Media file. It says it's unknown. It also has a yellow exclamation mark next to it. I've tried the whole troubleshooting, looking in the control panel and everything. Nothing's working. I have no idea how this happened. All I did was restart my computer because of this new security system "Anti virus Soft" which I never signed up to download. I couldn't delete it. All it was saying is that I had to purchase. Which I never wanted to. In result I couldn't get on the internet. So I ended up doing a system recovery to get rid of it for good. Which worked. I did so and after that it said I had to restart again. and in result the sound was obsolete.

I've went into the control panel under the sound and audio area and under the tabs that read... "Volume, Sound, Audio, Voice and Hardware" and under the Volume tab it reads 'No audio device'. How do I get it back?

I've tried all the help that I've received to the original replys but nothing's worked. Thanks for the help.
