Crash flash drive file recovery
Q:
Single "USBC" file on my flash drive. I think it crashed, can I recover the files? Please help!?
About a year ago I bought a 16gb Retail Plus flash drive. Today I plugged it in to my computer and when Autoplay popped up it said "Removable Disc" (I named it "Flash Drive" when I first got it, and it always showed up as that before). When I opened the flash drive, there was only one file. It was called "USBC" and was about 3gb large. So I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and now the file is named "USBCÇ*D" and is about 0.7gb large. The file doesn't even have a file extension.
I think it crashed, but I'm asking if anybody knows exactly what happened and how or if I can fix it.
I had a lot of valuable information on the flash drive, and I would be extremely thankful if I could get it back somehow.
Please help me.
